Hypertrig (Demo/Proof-of-Concept)
A downloadable game for Windows
You're alone in a strange, run-down facility, with no signs of life anywhere. Just a bunch of robots...a bunch of robots that oh-so-conveniently want to kill you. Y'know, just your average action game plot!
Armed with a special prototype gun and inexplicable movement powers only a superhuman could possess, take on the hordes of enemies before you in the first level of this proof-of-concept run-&-gun game!
== There is another demo planned to be released within the coming months - so stay tuned if you want to play more than just one stupid level! Please I beg of you they're going to relocate me to the padded room if you don't watch this page help ==
- The tutorial, intro & 1st level of Hypertrig, complete with a miniboss at the end!
- A powerful, breakneck-speed moveset: slide under enemies, slam them up in the air, and even throw some objects in your environment around!
- 4 unique weapon bases, which can either be used on their own or combined - resulting in 14 different weapons to use!
- 2 unique enemy types & 1 miniboss - with plenty more to come!
- Every unique save in Hypertrig may or may not have *slight* differences! See if you can find them all!
- Fleshed-out controller support, peppered with satisfying rumble effects! ^
- Partially-implemented Razer(TM) Chroma RGB support - unique animations play depending on what you're doing!
- Discord Rich Presence integration! Show your friends the level you're in!

Hypertrig is a run-&-gun + platformer crossbreed with a [insert artstyle term]-like feel, with a very interesting(?????) sense of humor to boot! Heavily inspired by run-&-guns of the 4th console era, such as Gunstar Heroes and MMX, Hypertrig is currently the result of a little over 2 years of work on my own!
While only the first level is complete, there is currently 3 more levels (including a boss oooooh aaaah very scary) being worked on for a later demo! Even then, there should hopefully be a decent chunk of content to discover in the proof-of-concept. Hopefully you enjoy what you see; if things go well, the plan is to turn this into a full-scale game.
Hope you stick around for the next demo! :D
^ Note: Some controllers may require launching the game via Steam.

Hey, not bad it has potential; the controls feel a little too fast and make some parts of the level a little weird to navigate especially in vertical parts, which also makes aiming weird that's why I choose to throw or stomp enemies as the main way to kill them (easier and quicker).
The actual fighting happened on the ambushes, I'm not sure how much of that was intended but I basically ran away from enemies on most of the hallways.
